April, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have always had a love for fashion and am always being asked where I got my outfits. One day, it just clicked that I should start a blog and Instagram page showcasing my daily outfits.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The journey is hard. A lot of people don’t realize the many hats fashion bloggers wear! You have to be a writer, editor, photographer, designer, model, etc, etc, etc. It takes a lot of dedication, research and daily consistency.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with All that glitters fashion – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I publish a blog article 2 or 3 times a week with links to my outfits and give fashion advice and alert of sales. I feature a lot of high end items but also lower end. I like to give my followers options at many different budget levels. I love connecting with readers everyday and also fellow fashion bloggers with the same passion as me. It’s also great when I can promote other businesses and help them grow by showing of their products on my blog or Instagram.
Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
My mom had always loved fashion as well so, I grew up around it and shopping with her.
