Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I got started in my mind in 2016 when I had the idea of becoming a business owner. I registered my business name and secured my license at that time. As I was climbing the corporate ladder, my spirit of entrepreneurship kept taking a back seat. I finally took the leap and leaned in as of May 2019 when I knew I wanted to become a mother and knew I wanted to teach my child to dream and dream big without fear. So then launched and birthed Bottomless Closet ATL to kick off my birthday month. I have always had a passion for fashion and always have been complimented on my own personal style, so I wanted to do something that I had a passion for and shopping. It was a no brainer because I like to shop. I do it economically. This was the direction I wanted to go and start with that part of the business. My other passion is service and giving, so I am currently establishing a non-profit arm of the business where I can donate services and items to places in need in the community. In addition to new items, I also sell my own closet items for resale under different platforms for all those thriftier shoppers who don’t like new they can also find some gently used items in the Bottomless Closet. That is where the name comes. You can find just about anything in the closet to décor, shoes, small appliances, shoes, clothes, you name it, you may find it in the closet as I clean out my closets and my style changes. This was a way to rid my space of things no longer being used. This too was an adage that is frequently used “one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure.”
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road as with anything in life. The old adage says, “anything worth having is worth working for,” So I have been working pretty hard as of late after having to pause while I was expecting my first child. So, the struggles came when you start an ecommerce business and need to get a following, and most people who shop online have to know your quality and product before they purchase, so that was the challenge of getting consumers to purchase online. I like many other people who start business question themselves when profit is not coming in as you expect right off, but my ambition and my tenacity wouldn’t allow me to give up, so I paused to have my one and only child, Harper Grace and now that she is almost eight months I am back pushing my business hard an heavy. I found I was more successful when I participated or hosted what they call Pop-Up Shops. So that has helped me get more followers and repeat customers to know what kind of products I have. I also have incorporated private in-home boutique shopping experiences, especially during COVID-19 and the need to be safe.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Well, personally, I don’t believe in luck; I believe in blessings and those have played a huge part in my life and business. Everything to date has been because of the blessings and the manifestation of prayers that my tribe and I have spoken and summoned. Faith and perseverance have played a huge role in my drive to succeed and go after the things I dream and manifest for my life and now the life of my daughter. I am extremely excited about the business and the direction of Bottomless Closet ATL is going as I embark on the next pivot to the business.
