Today we’d like to introduce you to Myesha Collins.
Myesha, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Processing life and my mental health ailments lead me to self-healing. I was Blue, I wasn’t aware of my power. While intuitively I knew there was more, my belief system had jaded and limited my reality. Facing things like rape, assault, and other types of abuse and unlearning the behaviors and belief system tied to the fear and damage I held. I was shooting for Gold Knowing and owning my power. On this experience, I found it helpful and required to write, while I have written before, I was now in a totally different space in my life where I was more intentional in my healing and growing. Blue Girl Turned Gold the Transformation Experience Anthology was born in this space. Not only was I able to share my experiences, but I was able to empower others to do the same. Now completing Volume 3 Unknowing to Unlimited, we are all living just that. If you follow the Anthologies you will see each person transform, it’s such an empowering space. Blue Girls Turned Gold the Not for Profit was also created within this vision. Hosting workshops, events, and Celebrations of Greatness have allowed the organization to make an impact on so many creative levels.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
During this experience, the road will be bumpy, but on all bumps, there is a lesson. I have been there, cars repossessed, little to no food, facing eviction, contemplating my why! In all situations you are present. I had to find unconventional ways to move forward in my experience. I had to let go of a faulty belief system that encouraged being helpless and powerless. I had to start to intentionally show up, be accountable, and take my losses as lessons. Starting the Not for Profit was my creative strategy in pushing the organization forward and sharing my vision on a much bigger scale. When I was younger, I thought of what it would be like to run a not for profit, but I didn’t see me that way. My healing caused my vision to change. I offer the advice of staying grounded, being grateful through every learning moment, be accountable and shift when necessary, research for yourself, be open, be creative, be you… once you get the right, lessons won’t hurt so bad because you will understand why and what you gotta do next. This experience will never be perfect but it can be exactly what you desire to create. Choose you!

Blue Girl Turned Gold is ME. Living this Experience myself and sharing, healing, growing and shattering the glass ceilings and mindsets that do not entail ABUNDANCE. With the Not for Profit organization Blue Girls Turned Gold, we offer author opportunities, empowerment workshops, entrepreneur opportunities and so many other resources with a focus on SELF LOVE and SELF Empowerment. I specialize in Creative Strategies, being told NO, you are not and you can’t force me to make it happen my own way. I offer services through SHA Coaching and Consulting, I have consistently been able to see an increased impact from the strategies I create, whether personal, business or otherwise for myself and those I serve. I partner with clients, leaders, and creatives that are in alignment with my ultimate vision. While I love strategies, I choose those that are naturally in alignment, I do not believe in non-partnered growth. This means I always want to be apart of things that are reflective of me, not just for the sake of being apart. Pouring into and creating circles of resources and opportunities for growth is the ultimate goal. Depending on who you ask I am known as the Blue Girl Turned Gold, Author, Crazy Girl, Award Winning Activist, Leader, Genius Is Common Member, Mental Health Advocate, Strategist, Sister, Friend, etc. I am your regular person and I think that all the things the universe and God have given are meant just for me. I don’t compare, I move freely in my own creativity, I think that may be one of the things that stands out about me and my brand.
Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
I believe all experiences in life are all apart of your history. We have personal history but of course, we are tied to experiences we may have encountered. I believe that if you have the intuitive ability to want to thrive and not survive you can pull from your past experiences and use that as a measure of what you are desiring to create now and in the future. I believe all my experiences forced me to learn something about myself that I didn’t know. Becoming unlimited and walking in self-power was something I had to learn, but that was only through learning and getting the lessons and choosing differently.
