So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Becoming an empty nester really made me look at how time flies I have finished raising my children and they are living their lives to the fullest. So, with the concentration on myself and wanting to leave my mark or have something now that my children will be proud of is what started my wheels turning. Going over the concept with a few friends they fell in love with the idea and agreed I need to put in the work and bring this to life for other women.
My main focus at first was clothing, hmmmm, is that the route you really want to go Sheila? So, I continued to pray and think on what I really wanted out of the startup of this company. What kept coming into play was to do what you do naturally. What I do naturally is to help, listen and assist women. Step by Step www.Rightsideof50.com was becoming real and born of the concept of being able to release your burdens, hurts, trials, disappointments, etc. all while still being productive in your daily life. Basically, because everyday hard working women carry so much weight and releasing shows that there is nothing wrong with you, you just need that solace and that comfort.

50 times of feeling trapped
50 times of saying what am I doing
Now, with releasing my hurt, my ups and downs I am able to show other women that evolving is done only through you living within your truth.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been what I have made it, meaning my choices in life is what my road is made of. Building this business is placed on my truths and being able to release them proving to other ladies that the only way you can truly be happy in life is to stand in your truth. The struggle is getting women to understand that statement.
The advice I can give to other women when building in what they believe. Is to be ready to explain your concept, believe in your concept and most of all be ready to put in the work for your concept.

Rightsideof50 is about helping women realize that their truth and release is their true happiness and being. As the Founder of Rightsideof50, I have made myself available now in 2019, to all women conferences that are seeking empowerment, truth releasing, and encouragement speakers. “When I speak truth to motivate it’s not from being taught it’s real life.” Knowing that once you become that ear or concerned vessel for many women you also become that advocate for them. Rightsideof50 will advocate for women of all ages, races, sexuality and speak a word that they can not speak. Rightsideof50 believes that there is room for change and the only way for things to change is to speak on it or about it, but most of all Be About It.
