Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiana Whiters.
Tiana, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started graphic design about three years ago. It all started when I was working at staples in the Print and marketing center. Working there inspired me to want to help others market their business the best way possible. Being a graphic designer is probably the best thing that has ever happened to be. Helping others expand their business is awesome. I’ve networked with a lot of people from different states and also out the country. I’ve expanded my talent with graphic design throughout the years.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It was not an easy journey. Trying to get clientele was a struggle at first. Once I got comfortable with my talent I started to reach out more to people and show off my talent. I encourage all women who are starting there own business to never be afraid of failure and never give up and no matter who does what you do they don’t do it like you.
Please tell us more about your work. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from competition?
I am a graphic designer I help people market their business the best way possible. I started off doing Logos and then it expanded to flyers, business cards, etc. I specialize in marketing and print. Also I create Custom apparel. I am most proud of my design work and how I can help others create the vision they have for their business. The best feeling is when I give my customers exactly what they envisioned, what sets me apart from others I’m very dedicated to my work and passionate about helping others further their business.
Who have you been inspired by?
The woman who inspired me is my mom because no matter what she has encountered she as always pushed to be better.
