Today we’d like to introduce you to Camron Garner.
Hi Camron, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Growing up, I always remembered my grandad with his camcorder documenting the smallest moments from picking tomatoes in the garden to dancing in the front yard. Our vacations and family gatherings were never complete without a polaroid camera or some sort of video recording capturing special moments. He captured everything from basketball games, family reunions, and even my brothers and I messing around in the yard. He made a point of documenting everywhere we traveled and all the fun things we did together as a family.
Fast forward to 2009; I received my first handheld camera and fell in love with documenting my life. I would vlog everything from my speed stacking days to skits with my friends. 10+ years later, I decided to put time, money, and resources into getting serious with my camera work.
I’ve watched countless hours of YouTube, spoken with others in the industry, and applied what I’ve learned to harness my skills. With this knowledge, I’ve been able to increase views on social media platforms for clients to 10,000+.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve been lucky so far to have an amazing clientele. It is truly a wonderful feeling when you have so many great people in your corner supporting you. I know it may not always be as smooth and I look forward to overcoming challenges and strengthening my skills.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m known for lifestyle photography, but I also have a passion for capturing those special moments in life such as: graduations, birthdays, and chefs.
Taking on a new skill has been the most rewarding. I’ve been able to adapt to the ever-evolving content world while putting my own spin on it to showcase my personality.
My personality is what sets me apart from others. I always have a smile on my face. I’m dancing and doing whatever is necessary to bring the energy to ensure the best outcome of every session I’m involved in.
Any big plans?
I’m currently finishing up my degree in Information System Management at Auburn University (War Eagle!). Having completed that, I will have more time to create content while building a career in IT. I plan to travel and document personal content as well as continues to build content for my clientele.
