Hi Gabrielle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
For the last 18 years, I’ve worked as a runway, commercial and editorial model. I have a huge passion for acting and I love being in front of the camera. I mainly shoot fashion, swimwear and lingerie but I also enjoy creative projects like bodypaint or dress up.
I am currently the CEO of The Gabrielle Thrasher Companies which include Oui Fancy, LLC an online fashion boutique and The Thrasher Agency a modeling and talent agency. I am currently represented by The Thrasher Agency and modeling for various individual photographers. My photos have been published in Bergdorf Goodman, Vogue Teen, Runway, and Neiman Marcus magazines and I was part of campaigns for Mac Cosmetics, Diesel, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Zara to name a few. I am available for photoshoots in Atlanta Georgia, but available to travel to other destinations in the US and Internationally.
I am tall (5’8’), long hair natural brunette with a caramel skin tone, which makes me an excellent model for swimwear and lingerie photos. I enjoy working with photographers and brands that have a creative approach. I bring my energy, professionalism and passion for modeling to every project I work on.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Absolutely not! This profession/lifestyle that I chose to pursue has definitely had its challenges as well as its highs and lows. Everything from walking onto a set and immediately being over-sexualized or treated like an object or piece of meat. Being “too talented” and cast aside or put to the back regardless of my talent because I wasn’t willing to participate in the shenanigans. Also, being able to differentiate between a quality gig and the “opportunities” that are purely based on someone else’s perverted desires.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an international/domestically published fashion model. I have ripped runways in New York, Paris, Amsterdam, as well as in Atlanta and other destinations in the US. I have graced the pages of countless publications and my image has been used to advertise for numerous products and services. I also on the online boutique www.ouifancy.com. In my boutique, we specialize in trendy women’s clothing. I also am the founder and CEO of the Gabrielle Thrasher Agency. It is my work with the Thrasher Agency that I’m most proud of because it allows me to call on and exercise all of my talents. We are a modeling agency but more than that, we are a digital marketing and brand management company that supply’s its own models and talent for our client’s content creation projects. That is the major thing that sets us apart. We are a self-contained ecosystem.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I’m so much more than a pretty face and an alluring personality. I’m a business owner, a digital marketing wiz, and a hopeless romantic. I really do believe in real love although I also believe it’s very elusive and ultimately difficult to achieve.
Pricing:
- $250 is my hourly rate for an engagement as a model. That includes photo shoots/ video shoots.
