Life & Work with Krystle Hebert

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystle Hebert.

Hi Krystle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
With the unique position of not only being in Foster Care myself as a teenager, but I was also a mother of two by the age of 16. We were all in Foster Care including my brother, due to my mother lacking the resources to care for all of us. I remember going through all of this thinking I want more for my kids. So, I got my GED. While I was getting my GED, I met my husband and had another baby and went to college while raising my three amazing children and it was so hard! I never gave up and then as my kids got older, I decided to start my modeling and acting back up and show my kids that if you have a dream, you never give up on it no matter what life throws at you! Being in front of the camera is my paradise; it’s the one place on this earth that I feel completely in my element. I feel so free and happy when in the spotlight, but most of all I love that I can bring a charter to life with my passion.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road! When you are a teenage mother chasing your dreams, it’s never easy, but I never gave up! Not only was I a teenage mother but I also had high-risk pregnancy all 3 times and because of it, I was on bed rest for all 9 months! I had to put my dreams and goal on hold but when I was able to, I jumped right back in with a force! Every day for me is a challenge. I work 40 hrs. a week at a law firm, raising 3 beautiful children while still acting and modeling! For me, every minute in the day counts I take my lunch break and put as many auditions in as I can or I’m script studying for roles that I do have.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Legal Assistant at a Law Firm. I handle divorces, custody’s, adoptions, criminal offenses on a daily basis. Outside of my 8-5 Job, I’m known for my Runway shows and for bringing every charter I have to life in a unique way. My eyes defiantly have a language all of their own which sets me apart from most people. I use it to say what needs to be said without saying a word. What sets me apart from everyone else is my drive, my determination, and my passion I don’t quit, and I refuse to take the easy way. No matter what happens or what life tries to throw at me, I will never give up on my dreams!

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The lessons I have learned over the years are nothing is handed to you! If you want something, you work hard for it because nothing worth having is easily obtained and you are the only one who can make your dreams come true! Life is not a race it’s truly a journey and it’s up to you on what kind of journey you want to take.
