Hi Plushette, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started out in corporate management and in 2020 I wanted to change the way I experience life, I really wanted to find my people and within those three years, I found a way to fulfill my purpose through art and fashion. I have immersed myself in the art scene to create opportunities and help the artists thrive and the community thrive by creating opportunities and amazing experiences.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
it hasn’t been a smooth road, with any transition you have bumps in the road. especially doubts, I’ve learned so much just by having amazing mentors & fellow entrepreneurs to show me the ropes but also avoid extreme pitfalls. but most importantly they motivated me and inspired me during those hardships and triumphs.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a Jane of All Trades, behind the shades I curate art show independently and I am also an artist agent.
I do that and more.
My purpose is to curate experiences, visibility and share meaningful stories from the artists that I collaborate with.
The Atlanta art scene is emerging with talent and I am currently leveling the playing field like art capitals such as LA, NYC and MIAMI by being an asset in giving way to the skills and gifts that reside in the 404. Beyond the shades is a lover of the community and a bridge to the stories waiting to be told by the culture and art here in Atlanta.
