ShesMonroe Luxury Minks was fully created in December of 2017. When I first came to Atlanta, in 2013, I knew how to do individual lashes. Mink lashes had just came out about a year later. I was always into lashes because I felt as though that was all you needed for natural beauty. I kept putting it to the side to actually learn how to do mink lash extensions. One day, I woke up and said it was time. I always had a name and knew how my logo would be . I was just scared to actually launch my creation because I felt though everyone does lashes but you can’t think like that because everyone isn’t you. I have so much in store for ShesMonroe because this is me . Now, my business is actually picking up and going good. I have clientele in New Jersey, Philadelphia, New York and Atlanta. I am hoping to expand more and more.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a smooth road, some days you just wonder how many clients you will get a week. Or investing money back into your company can be a hassle but it’s all worth it.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the ShesMonroe Luxury Minks story. Tell us more about the business.
My company is ShesMonroe Luxury Minks. I specialized in servicing clients with eyelash extentions. I’m proud that my company is getting my exposure. And that’s doing what it needs to do. I would say, what set me apart from others is that I actually love what I do and not just in it for the money. I love making people feel beautiful without makeup.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
In 5-10 years, I see my company having its own beauty bar located in Atlanta and New Jersey. ShesMonroe will also have its own products for sale (ex: strip lashes, eye masks for bed, cleanser, mascara and etc.)!
