Rev. Allison G. Daniels is an International Diversity Trainer, Awarding-winning, 3X Bestselling Author who has written 31+ books, co-author of 10, and Visionary Author of Book: “Empowered to Win”. She is the owner of Allison Daniels’ Ministries, LLC; Coaching/Consulting Business; She is the Founder/CEO of Women Empowered 2 Win Organization, which is geared to Empower and Educate women and teens by motivating, inspiring, and encouraging them to lead with authority, clarity, and confidence. She is a motivational speaker, coach, book writing expert and publisher. She has been married to her husband Earl for over 19 years and she is the mother of two Queens Kristian and Damona. She uses her books, coaching and her mentoring skills as tools to help and assist those who are ready to lead with authority. Her mission is to aspire, dream and motivate others.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
For a long time, I did not know that I could own my own business. I did not grow up hearing that I could become an entrepreneur. I only saw the ups and downs of failed marriages, failed relationships and children trying to understand the concept of building a family and making a difference against all odds.
So, one day my purpose was revealed during a season of trials, tribulations, setbacks, disappointments and uncertainties about life. During those trying seasons of my life, GOD gave me the assignment that now was the time for me to move forward in launching my publishing company and sharing my story of hope with the world.
Many women desire to write their book, desire to share their story but they are juggling so many other things in life. So, I can relate to this because I was once a busy single overwhelmed mother who felt led to write a book. But, could never due so because I was wearing too many hats. But, one day I stepped out on faith and pursued my dream. I started helping others write and share their stories, testimonies and prayers. I wanted to create a platform that empowered women to move past their hurts and pains and share their story as a healing therapy so that they can pursue their passion and their purpose in life.
I used my social media platform and speaking engagements to inspire others to live their best life NOW! I have a segment on Facebook Live at 5:00am Every Monday, Segment on Gospel Time Machine Radio Every day at 6:00am and Author’s Chat with Allison Podcast on Anchor geared toward assisting new and inspiring authors share their book, their brand and their business.
Has it been a smooth road?
My professional challenge was overcoming fear and making a huge mistake in my business. I had a great vision but feared of failing lingered near. I knew that God had called me to start my publishing company, AGD Publishing but I was really unsure how much I really knew about publishing from a publisher’s standpoint. I had written over 31 books, co-author of 10 books and assisted four authors in getting their book into print. But, I stepped out on faith and continued to pursue my dreams. One day the light bulb came on and I realized that fear was a dream killer, a destiny destroyer trying to invade and hinder me from pursuing what I’ve been longing to achieve in my life. I had to release fear from me and constantly say to myself what if failed, at least I will gain the knowledge, life skills and lessons needed to apply myself in my future to run a publishing company. So, I finally took my eyes off of what I didn’t know and focused on this that I had learned thus far. And my vision became clearer to me and to the authors that I serve in my business.
