Hi Amarilys, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Since I was little, I felt a great desire to serve and help others over time, I discovered that it is my great purpose in life, and it is what drives me to move forward, impact and transform the lives of many women, I started in my country Venezuela 🇻🇪 my first profession is a teacher, after having a day care for ten years, one day God placed in my heart the desire to have a spa, and I began to study and discovered a hidden gift that I have of giving massage, to as I studied I was buying the materials to have my own spa, I opened it and I loved this beautiful world of aesthetics, it was not easy I am divorced and mother of two children, but the passion for what I do never let me stop, in the In 2017 I emigrated to the United States and from day 1 I knew what I wanted and where I was going, so I designed an action plan, and I started studying to get my licenses, but the cheapest was nail licenses, so I started with that. I had to learn this trade, I had never done it, and I knew that it was not what I was going to do for many years, but if I made an effort to do it very well the time I worked doing nails, then I got skincare and finally therapeutic massage, I started in Florida and in 2020 I moved to Georgia looking for a better future for my children, and here I have felt the support of the Hispanic community, today I have more than 200 clients in less than two years, every day I have the satisfaction of observing how my service improves the life of a woman I love my profession and another reason that drives me forward is that I have the goal of creating my Amaspa academy to help immigrant Latin women who want to venture into the world of aesthetics and own their own businesses.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting in a new country, far from my family, then moving to another state and starting from scratch, being in Georgia I separated from my husband and I had to be the head of the family for myself and my children, this was a great economic challenge.
We’ve been impressed with Amaspa LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am Ama 💙 founder of Amaspa and the purpose of creating this beautiful business was and is to empower women through being. We are more than an aesthetic, we help women to strengthen their self-esteem and self-confidence through conscious skincare.
My clients are women who feel they have time for everyone except themselves, with a wonderful body that hasn’t been taken care of, beautiful but they don’t believe it.
At Amaspa, we beautify women from the inside out, highlighting her natural beauty, we offer a comprehensive service with a life coach, nutritionist and personalized treatments to our clients, this marks the difference from other brands.
