Meet Amina Sahovic of GlossyandBossy in North Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amina Sahovic.

Amina, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In April of 2019, I got the idea to start my own brand. I’ve always pushed people to be a boss, and one morning I woke up wanting to be my own boss. My brand is so much more than a name, and it is built on the foundation of love, hard work, and inspiration. My first intent when I made this brand was to motivate other people to take success in their own hands, and I have seen it do that and more throughout my time working on it.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has been challenging, but it is worth it every day when I see how far I have progressed and continue perfecting my craft.

GlossyandBossy is an all-natural, cruel free and homemade lip gloss business. While I do specialize in lipgloss, I have come out with products such as lip oils, body oil, and now my first accessory. I am most proud of my company as I continue to Push out great quality products while altering to everyone’s preference. Everyone needs a perfect gloss that suits them, and my goal is to provide that for them.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, Atlanta is up-and-coming for small businesses and especially for Beauty products. I would recommend anyone starting a business in Atlanta because there are so many connections for entrepreneurs, as well as social media benefits within the community.
