Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Burn.
Andrew, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Born in Atlanta Georgia, I’ve always had a love for the city and a special connection with the art community. I began my creative career in audio production, working with various notable R&B, rap, and rock artists, garnering me a voting membership with the GRAMMYs. Later, I shifted my focus to the film industry. I have had the honor to work on a variety of feature films, TV shows, and commercials. Going beyond the motion pictures, I also have worked at being a stills photographer and have turned it into a solid business. I was even lucky enough to have been recognized in the Atlanta Journal Constitution as one of Atlanta’s best photographers.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It certainly has not been a smooth road. Learning the camera craft and building my own business in Atlanta has been one of the most challenging paths I have ever undertaken. Acquiring enough material that is worthy of a professional took a long time. Lots of long hours and favors have lead me to where I am today. It was a long road and there is still much to do while continuing my journey.

I specialize in narrative and commercial cinematography, yet I believe my stills photography gives me an edge. I’ve been able to combine the two crafts by animating stills into video and film work. This has given me the opportunity shoot for various local and international businesses.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I have been surprisingly lucky throughout my journey. I have been able to make connections with the right people to lend me a hand and pull me up. The Atlanta community is extremely welcoming and helpful.
