Today we’d like to introduce you to Angel Nicole
Angel, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Two Years Ago I went through a Rough time in my life , I Lost a lot but gained the biggest blessing in my life KALIE GRACE MORRELL My beautiful Daughter born weighing only 1 lb 11 oz. Take it from me Motherhood is the best feeling in the world. I went through postpartum depression , while trying to adapt to a whole new world. I didn’t feel like myself for a very long time dealing with postpartum depression but my Mother ” Angela Amazin” is always praying for me and one day I ended up taking one of her “Taking Your Power Back” sessions. afterwards I realized I wanted to overcome this hump in the road, so I can be a better Mom, Friend, Sister, etc. but also share My Testimony and be there for other Moms. I’m blessed to have a village for my daughter. Im aware that a lot of Moms don’t get the same support when it comes to their children.
In 2018 I decided to start MOMS”R”PEOPLE2, a community organization awaiting on our 501(c)(3). MOMS”R”PEOPLE2 we are human just like you! We are an organization designed to Support, Encourage, Motivate, Inspire & help jump over the impossible or static of a “, Mom” as we play many roles. Support is apart of the village.
Our future goals for MOMS”R”PEOPLE2 are to be able to help assist Moms in need across the world with Rent assistance ,Utilities, Back2School supplies , Resources for Jobs, Transportation to appointments, social groups to help prevent postpartum depression and a DRESS FOR SUCCESS CENTER . We are currently Re-branding… STAY TUNED
Has it been a smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road, but if you have Faith, All Things Are Possible. After having a stillborn in 2016 at 8 months , This really hurt me & was hard for me to bounce back then I got Pregnant Again and had a Miscarriage got pregnant the last time and didn’t even know I was pregnant till I was 16 weeks, I hid my pregnancy for a while until my birthday where i announced i was with child to all My Family & Close Friends, 5 weeks after I’m in the hospital for stomach cramps. The day I was getting released, which was Saturday 09 09 17, I had My Rainbow Baby Kalie Grace @ 5:23 AM weighing 1LB 11OZ , breathing on her own, with her arms stretched out also sharing a birthday with her Aunt Brittnee. Kalie Grace was the best thing to happen to me, and for all those NICU Doctors at Kennestone Hospital THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO TO MAKE EVERY PARENT COMFORTABLE DURING THEIR TIME IN THE NICU .
Ms. Tracy We Love You So Much.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the MOMS”R”PEOPLE2 story. Tell us more about your organization.
MOMS”R”PEOPLE2 , a community organization awaiting on our 501(c)(3). Moms”R”People2 we are human just like you! We are an organization designed to Support, Encourage, Motivate, Inspire & help jump over the impossible or static of “Mothers” as we play many roles. Support is apart of the village. Here are a few of our future goals , Help provide diapers and wipes , rent assistance , Affordable Childcare utilities assistance , Back2School Supplies, Resources for jobs, transportation to appointments, Social Groups to help prevent Postpartum Depression. I’M known for Our Annual Vision Board Workshops, that i Co-Host Every Year in March with my Mom Angela Amazin Tate. I also like to Give Back, Volunteer , giveaway free breast pumps, Mothers Day Baskets, Baby Clothes, Gas Cards, etc. I’m most proud of the fact I didn’t let FEAR overtake what I wanted to do for myself and other Moms around me. What sets Moms”R” People2 apart is we are not a single moms club here to bash fathers or be negative . We are an organization here to help Create or Substance a Positive Village to support Moms. We don’t judge because we as women have all been down one road or another. We are here to help and keep Sisterhood poppin and Motherhood solid.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I believe the industry will repeat itself because history always repeats itself just in a more modern way . Sometimes Change is good though .
