Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Y Alexander.
Angela Y, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started this company in 2011 at my dining room table where I began making beaded bracelets from natural stones for friends and family. It quickly grew into a business after that.
I’m sure you might be wondering about the company name. It is truly a reflection of my personality…..I’m sweet but of course I have a sassy side. I wanted to be a tad different so I added an “E” to sasse instead of spelling it the traditional way. I felt that was the perfect name because all of my pieces are made with love and have a little edginess as well.
One of my biggest accomplishments was being featured in 2016 Cosmopolitan UK as a “Summer Must-Have.” I truly love what I do and enjoy the smile that I bring to each satisfied client.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There’s always ups and downs in any business. Moving from city to city was challenging as well as learning new markets.

I specialize in handcrafted jewelry made from natural stones. All my pieces are one of a kind. I tailor to my client’s individual style which keeps them coming back.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I’m most proud of my client’s review section on my website. They are the reason my business is a true success. It truly warms my heart when I see how happy my creations make people.

This was really a fantastic article. I have purchased original creations from Angela at sweet n sasse and absolutely love my jewelry. All of my pieces fit perfectly and are still so beautiful after a few years of wearing. I have also purchased pieces for my friends who love them.
