Meet Azariah Michelle of The Diplomatic Brand in Lithonia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Azariah Michelle.

Azariah, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I actually started with Graphic Design and Web Design back in 06′ my freshman days of high school. Editing classmates pictures creating layouts on myspace was where I found my creativity. I believe that same year my Dad gave me one of his cameras to shoot and play around with because he does photography as well. After that, I began to just do photoshoots with classmates and friends or even go around the city to shoot landscape to get familiar with working with a DSLR camera.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. During this journey, I felt every emotion. Whether it was depression, happy one moment, motivation or even confusion questioning if this was really meant for me to continue as a career/business. I even at one point sacrificed everything besides my camera and computer to chase my dreams and traveled to places like San Diego, Miami, D.C, NYC and Atlanta where I am now living to get to where I want to be. Feeling all the ups and downs no matter what it was something always brought me back to photography and still on the path to creativity. In that, I had to realize that I still wasn’t happy so I stopped being consistent which is never a good idea.

The Diplomatic Brand – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I specialize in Photography where I created my business/brand called “The Diplomatic Brand” I’m known to help develop and create brands, artists, and influencers. Being able to build to different client’s vision is what I’m most proud of as well as traveling and taking my company to a different environment. What sets me apart from others is that not only that I’m just a photographer I help mold brands and give pointers with promoting their business.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I personally define success as creating goals whether big or small constantly and meeting them. Also, happiness is a must in your success. Be proud of each thing that gets you to the next level in life. My criteria is to KEEP GOING. No matter what life throws at you stay grounded. if ever get overwhelmed. Take a small breather and keep pushing. Never underestimate yourself and ability others can bring to you.
