Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikki Carter.
Nikki, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
The Beauty of Clarity started about three years ago. I had started my spiritual journey of finding out who I was as well as the background of my family. Growing up, I knew I was different. I had the ability to know things before they happened, and I had the ability to see my passed love ones and other spirits as well. The earliest I can remember experiencing my spiritual gifts was at the age five. I never knew what to call these abilities because these things wasn’t really talked about in my family. Not that it was forbidden, but just wasn’t in the daily conversation. Not knowing that these spiritual gifts will impact my life in the right way later on. As I got older I still felt that something was missing to the point that it felt like I was keeping a secret from myself. I had decided to take a break from the cosmetology field to work on myself and to seek answers to questions that I felt like it was time to be answered. With my grandmother being deceased, I was very limited on my family background, especially about the practices that they participated in spirituality. I have memories of her working in her garden growing herbs and other plants to make tonics, helping people in the community not knowing what she was actually doing at the time. If we was sick, we would lay in her bed and feel better within hours. We would always say “Take me to grandma bed”.
I would ask her questions sometimes, but she would say when it’s meant for you know. You will get your answers”. I came across a metaphysical class that talked about things that I was experiencing. I decided to take the course, and it opened the door to some of my unanswered questions. I finally had a name to put to my spiritual gifts. That’s when The Beauty of Clarity was born. I still had a love for the beauty industry, but more loved to help guide people on their spiritual journey. Especially people like me who have gifts and not fortunate enough to have elders guide them on these gifts. I feel that everything has its beauty… No matter how you may perceive it. I help people on their journey to self-discovery, self-transformation, and self-healing through intuitive readings, mediumship, and my botanical oils/products. Sometimes we need someone to help us plant that seed so we can bloom into our authentic self.
Has it been a smooth road?
The struggle I had along the way was limited information about my family when it came to finding out about my spiritual background. Sometimes you can feel lost, but know to continue your journey. You are never forgotten, you are where you need to be in the present moment.

Here at The Beauty of Clarity, I help people who are on or about to start their spiritual journey. I guide them through intuitive readings, mediumship, or energy healing session to help navigate them through their journey. I also provide botanical aromatherapy products that help as well with uplifting their moods and being able to find peace with their thoughts. I use my gifts of Clairaudience (the gift of inner hearing) and Claircognizance (the gift of clear knowing) to deliver intuitive readings to my clients. I think what sets me apart from everyone is because I don’t like doing things in a cookie cutter style. I believe that we are all unique individuals. What may work for someone else may not work for me, and that’s fine. I enjoy finding ways to do things that may not be necessarily traditional but get the same results.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, because I feel like more people are starting to come into spirituality more. I feel like it will give them another alternative to gain guidance and healing.
