Today we’d like to introduce you to Blue Franswa.
Blue, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I grew up in Florida and moved to Atlanta around the age of 20 and was quickly exposed to art, fashion, and Entrepreneurship. Atlanta had opened my eyes to the desire to create opportunities for myself. In 2001, I met people like Akon, Bryan Michael Cox, The Dream,R&B group Jagged edge, & a list of industry people. I took my chances to pursue a career in music which was kind of an epic fail and kinda made me wanted to give up. After a few trials and tribulations, I packed up and went back to Jacksonville, Florida. Later on, I had my first child, started looking into employment that would offer long term benefits, I tried just about everything sales, customer service, & industrial work. One day, I met this guy who later became my mentor and long-time friend “Mr. Boguard.” He was an incredible photographer who was light years ahead of his time with his work. I got instantly inspired by his craft and studied his every move. I began to educate myself by reading and practicing almost everyday learning as much as I could in photography. One day he gave me the opportunity to take over his business. I was very nervous but I was ready. I started to set goals, and of those goals was to be the best at what I do. I didn’t want to just take photos but create art through my eyes.
Has it been a smooth road?
No! It has not been smooth at all. from people not wanting to help me learn from them, finding customers who value my time and worth. Balancing my time and prioritizing in my personal life.

I am a fashion and portrait photographer. I like to make people feel and look beautiful, recreate the art that I see in people. I like to give people something they can cherish forever. I specialize in making my people look like Art!
I am known for my personality and creativity. I have been doing photography for over 11 years and still going strong.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The thing I like about Atlanta is the culture, the demographics is so wide and diverse.
The least thing I like about Atlanta is the traffic, lol.
