Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandi O.

Hi Brandi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have always been in the beauty industry, however back in the very beginning of 2022, I had a stroke that was onset by my being sexually assaulted near my apartment in Hell’s Kitchen in Midtown, Manhattan in broad daylight, After which resulted in my having to spend time in the hospital along with a stent in a rehab/nursing facility.

The stroke left me like an adult infant, unable to swallow, speak, write, tell time, walk, read, having no knowledge of who friends/family were, down to even knowing types of animals amongst other things. During my time spent in the facilities, it was brought to my attention that both the men and women had issues with their appearance, i.e., weight, hair, skincare, attire, and hygiene. Being that after having the stroke my hands became uneasy, I had to figure out a way to help everyone feel beautiful about their appearance without using the sharp tools/instruments that were, used for the beauty services I once provided prior to the stroke. It was then that I realized body contouring/sculpting/laser lipo would be both beneficial and rewarding to myself and clients. That is when Beauty & Body By Brandi O. was created. Mainly because I wanted to continue to help others along their transformations.

When clients visit me, they also like to call me their “therapist and friend” all rolled into one. Ha, ha, ha!!! They are able to feel at ease during the entire process. At the end of the day, the clients leave looking and feeling better than they arrived. Seeing the smile on each client’s face lets me know that my job was done extremely well. For that, I am forever grateful and will always be grateful for.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, It has not been a smooth road at all whatsoever for me. Beauty & Body By Brandi started off on a shoestring budget. With a ton of emphasis on shoestring! Also, not really knowing anything about the area where my business is located was difficult as well. Because of my being located inside of a salon suite surrounded by little to no foot traffic played a part as well on top of being a new business, because you can’t just walk inside of the salon suite building, as the front door to the building is always locked.

We’ve been impressed with Beauty & Body By Brandi O., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Beauty & Body By Brandi O. is a small and private body sculpting/contour/laser lipo studio located in the Midtown area of Atlanta. The studio provides non-invasive bbl treatments, cellulite treatments, skin tightening (arms, legs, chin), tummy sculpting, anti-wrinkle treatments, hyaluronic lip injections and a variety of sea moss flavors, all in one place. Health is very important.

The thing that sets me apart from others is my personality. Every day, I like to put myself in my client’s shoes and treat them how I would like to be treated. Being myself and not marching to everyone else’s drum is why Beauty & Body By Brandi O. will always be around to help many, many people. When you genuinely help others the world sees your bright light. And that’s what I am, a bright light and proof that any and all things are possible, even if you are crying along the way.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Hmmm…… the quality or characteristic that is important to my success would be more than one thing actually. It’d be two things. The first thing is my faith. Yes, my faith in God plays a huge part. Without God I am absolutely nothing, I mean nothing at all. The other thing is my mindset. My mindset does not allow me to stay down when things go “wrong”, it just causes me to pivot. So yes, those things truly make me unstoppable.
