Meet Brian Howard

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Howard.

Brian Howard was born February 17, 1987, in Augusta Georgia. I started getting the Acting bug around the age of 17 when I was with The Th3rd World Ent. a local talent agency in Augusta, Ga. I graduated high school in 2006, I attended Butler High School in Augusta. When I was 22 years old, I moved to Belle Glade, FL with my mom, brother and sister. So, my acting career took a big halt. Brian joined the Army shortly after high school to become a mechanic. After seven years in the Army and three overseas deployments at the rank of Sergeant, he later realized it wasn’t what he’d wanted and thus, began his acting career again. Brian was determined to not give up on his dream and to be a role model for his daughter. Brian made his first television debut in the hit television show Murder Made Me Famous 2016 (Jim Jones Episode,) where he took on the role of one of Jim Jones security guards. Since his debut, Brian has appeared in other popular television shows such as: The Long Road Home which debut in November 2017! T.V Ones Fatal Attractions airing 2019 and T.V Ones ATL Homicide airing 2019. Brian continues to remain humble and works around the clock to produce content and work on his craft as an actor. Brian moved to Atlanta in May 2018 and is now a currently a student of Thom Scott ll at theActorsGym in Atlanta Ga. Since moving to Atlanta, he’s studied under celebrity acting coaches such as: Troy Rowland, Lamman Rucker (Green Leaf), Christine Horne, Rhavynn Drummer, Kent Kasper, and Crystal Carson. Brian career is progressively moving in the film industry and He’s one you will see on your big screens really soon!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
To be completely honest, NO, it has not been a smooth road with life nor this Industry. Managing a growing film career comes challenges, many that we are not prepared to face; With faith and love, sky’s the limit. This industry will give you 10,000 No’s before you get your first yes, but the yes will be so blissful. Hearing the No’s don’t matter.

Truthfully, my greatest challenge is second-guessing myself when things don’t go as planned. My biggest struggle was being in the Army and balancing a growing acting career. While actively serving my country, I auditioned for feature film “The Long Road Home”, for a speaking role. I know I did a great job, also felt that I booked the room but didn’t book the role. My chance to be cast was declined due to the fact that I was still Active Army that crushed my heart which has now been my motivation to excel in acting after retiring from the military. This industry has its challenges for sure but I now know that I’m ready to face them all.

Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of. What sets you apart from the competition?

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love that this city has so much great history and talent born right here in Atlanta that’s motivation for itself. Every day, I think of what I been through to get here. I love the energy and vibrations in this city which keeps me on my toes… what I dislike about this city? Is the traffic and potholes in the road…
