Hi Brianna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started having a passion for hair around the age of 15 or 16. I didn’t really start taking it seriously until after I graduated high school. I enrolled into college to be a physical therapist assistant but soon realized that’s not what I wanted to do and switched my major to cosmetology. While in cosmetology, I learned so much, including making wigs(what I specialize in). As I perfected my craft and started making wigs for family and friends, I started seeing how “hair store” bought hair didn’t last as long and how I would like something that lasted longer for my clients. I wanted the wigs I made to stand out. I wanted them to be durable. I wanted them to last. I wanted whoever was wearing them to feel comfortable and beautiful, like the hair was their own and most importantly, I wanted to know that I was responsible for the extra confidence my clients have. I decided to start shopping around for a reliable hair vendor. It took about three years to find the perfect vendor but I decided from that point on to start my own hair company and here we are today with BBRAND XTENSIONS.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting this hair company was not easy. Lol, I’ve spent so much money testing out the quality of the hair. I’ve had hair Vendor’s that weren’t professional or dependable when I really needed them to be. I even had a vendor who just took my money and never gave me any hair in return. I went through about 5 or 6 (maybe a few more) hair vendors before I finally got what I liked.

BBrand Xtensions is a hair extension company that sales of course hair extensions and wigs. We also sell bonnets, hair wraps and are expanding to sell more hair Related products very soon. BBrand is different from other hair companies because the hair quality is so natural. It’s often hard to find hair extensions that are the right texture. It Enhances your glow and confidence. It also has little to no shedding. Our bonnets and hair wraps are made of silk material, which is good for your hair and can be used for adults or even children. We are even in the works of making silk durags for men. I’m so proud of the Growth, good results and compliments BBRAND has received. It motivates me so much.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
If you are just starting out my advice to you is to take your time, never give up, and to stay consistent! I know that sounds so cliche but it’s the truth. Another thing is to network. I wish I would not have been so shy and connected and got business advice earlier from other people who I could learn from instead of thinking I could do it by myself.
