Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Sjogren.
Brittany, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started Loverly Grey in January 2016 while I working a corporate sales job. I wanted a fun creative outlet that would be a place where I could share my love of fashion and styling tips with those around me. My blog started out sharing mostly sale tips, work wear and how to dress for professional settings. As I grew, I started adding in everyday looks but always continued to share sale alerts and multiple ways to style one item.
From the beginning, I treated Loverly Grey as a business knowing that I eventually wanted to run Loverly Grey full time. That means responding to all emails and direct messages in a timely manner, having good customer service and just being a genuine person. People are making a choice to follow you every day so earning their trust is important and will go along way.
Has it been a smooth road?
There are always bumps in the road when you are starting a business or pouring your heart into something you love. I look at it more as a learning curve. There isn’t a manual on how to be a good blogger so it’s a lot of trial and error. There are parts of this job that I think I’ve got in the bag, but I am also learning new tips and tricks every day.

Loverly Grey is a fashion and styling website. I share styling tips and sale alerts daily. One thing I am known for is my try on sessions on my Instagram account, @loverlygrey. I give detailed information on sizing and fit and share multiple ways to style and wear an item. I think that I am genuine and truly care about helping other dress to look their best!
