Meet Camille Brown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Camille Brown.

So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I absolutely love modeling it’s my strongest passion. It all started three years ago when I was afforded the opportunity to meet and shoot with Nigel Barker, former America’s Next Top Model judge. Since then, it’s been kind of a snowball effect. I do freelance modeling whenever and wherever I can in Atlanta. One major brand ive modeled for quite often is”Wisdom Atl” curated by Latif a well-known brand here. Another huge event I’ve been with since 2017 is Young Atlanta a fashion thrown every summer by C.E.O. Charles Pabai another native of the South Side of Atlanta. All of the concepts I’ve done, I came up with you can check them out on my Instagram, which I’ll mention later. One of my biggest inspirations is 21 Savage. He’s a perfect example of not letting your beginnings determine your outcome, I’m super proud of how far he’s come and would love to meet him!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey hasn’t been a smooth one. There are quite a bit of aspiring models in the world, especially in Atlanta. I’m slowly but surely getting my name out there. I’ve been stopped a few times in my everyday activities with questions like “Hey, were you in that fashion show”? or I know you from somewhere. I’ll admit it puts a huge smile on face and makes me feel good inside.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
Let’s face it, there are plenty of blonde short-haired women in Atlanta. I feel however as if I have a special look and the perfect head shape. It looks kind of like a tennis ball if I do say so myself. I’m also able to rock the completely bald look, and the direction in which fashion is going these days I’m the epitome of what is being sought after.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory would be cheerleading. I was model in that regard as well if you think about it. I had an image to uphold by being a representative for my school as well as an ambassador for all things school spirit. I was able to display these things by dressing up every Friday night in uniform and be loud and proud. The makeup poms and bright new shoes were a plus and added to my overall look.
