Today we’d like to introduce you to Chaze Riggins.
Chaze, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I always loved fashion and wanted to have my own clothing line and show the world my true love for fashion and art. My story is a true inspiration and motivation. Losing my dad in 2014 was a very hard pill to swallow. I started my clothing line journey January 2015 and hit the ground running. With the support of friends and family. I had to provide for my family and also finish what I started by working my ass off to get my clothing line off the ground and making it worldwide. From starting out with 12 shirts and giving out shirts for free and people buying it and knowing my brand is a great accomplishment. With the help of my family, my great friends such as Russ of Diemon, Herb, W.G.B Sam putting my clothing line on a high level overseas. I have really built my brand from the ground up and the people in my community of East point support me and also around the city of ATL and a lot of entertainers and athletes. I also support so many different people from their music and also other people’s clothing line such as Fly on contact and D.O.U.G.H and Cash Crop clothing. Everybody knows Chaze as a hardworking young man and always striving for better and living life to the fullest. I love the support from everybody and I appreciate everyone who supports me and my brand fly billionaire. I have so much more in store from 2019 and beyond. We all want to be Fly Billionaires so we Hustletoinspire on a daily.
Has it been a smooth road?
It’s easy to nothing but hard to do something. The hardest part for me is trusting a lot of people putting the time and hard work to make sure things are right. But in everything I do with my clothing line, I am very hands-on. I have had a lot of hardships of taking a loss or people not keep their word and people just using me for a come up. So that’s why I surround myself with like-minded people and I don’t run from my challenges I run them over. With the many ups and downs being consistent and learning from your mistakes and bad business is key to being successful.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
My brand Fly billionaire is clothing company that express hustle, style and art of being fly. I have many different colors and styles that I handpick that I feel I want to see people rock my brand and look good wearing it. I want people to feel confident in themselves to be better and become better. But I do everything hands-on from the process of creating the vision of the clothing and shipping and with the help from a few close friends and family, they will critique my clothing before I put it out. Giving me positive or negative feedback on my clothing.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
In the city of ATL, fashion is on the rise of becoming a major part of the city. It’s not easy starting a business in your hometown but with hard work and being able to go against the odds nothing can stop you. I love my city and the support but other cities outside of Atlanta show mad love and support because they might not have a big name brand or business they like in their city so they move to ATL to make a better way. When people think of Atlanta, they think of opportunity and it also helps small business owners become known.
