Meet Chelsea Ollie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Ollie.

Chelsea, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my personal shopping business last March, I’ve had a passion for fashion since childhood. I was highly influenced by my parents, dad worked in Macy’s, mom was the meaning of a shop-a-holic! After losing both of my parents, I used my pain to birth my purpose.

DoseofStyle is a service used to make shopping easy for the average busy person who doesn’t have the time to shop.

I’m currently in the beginning stages of my business, but I’m looking forward to making an impact in the fashion industry.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The hardest challenge for me was just starting. There’s so much information to obtain when starting a business and it can be overwhelming, especially when your business is your dream, and you don’t want to give up so easily. And social media can be very distracting in causing you to just START! It can seem as if your dream has been done before.

DoseofStyle – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
DoseofStyle is a personal shopping service for the average busy person who may not have the time to shop. DoseofStyle also provides ‘Fashion Remedies’ or closet organization to clients seeking to upgrade their style. Shopping is evolving and DoseofStyle is a tool meant to make shopping easier for clients.

I specialize in shopping online/store, closet organization, photoshoots.

I am proudest of my campaign -#aDOSEof.
As a leader in my church community, I am surrounded by teens who are overwhelmed by life and trying to find who they are and I decided to create a campaign that uplifts teens girls to embrace their beauty!

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
My success is defined by the impact I make in my client’s lives.

I look for overall satisfaction from my clients.
As their personal shopper, they’re showing me their vulnerability and in return, I am showing their value!
