Today we’d like to introduce you to Chishala Chibuye aka Ms.Shala.
Chishala, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always wanted to be a radio host, I first started my media journey as an editor in chief of a magazine over nine years ago. After the magazine went under, I decided to make the leap and get into internet radio and it was love at first show! Doing radio is my therapy I love it! I have moved to different stations and even took a break to get back into the magazine game for a year but back to radio I went. My unique interview style allows me to meet a stranger at first I thought no one would like it but being just me has worked. Along the way treating people and being authentic has allowed me to interview some amazing people and also create a monthly relationship panel event called Wine, Love, Glam which combines some of favorite things!!! It is a discussion with a panel of distinguished gentleman about sex, love and relationship while enjoying wine and light appetizers. And I would have never dreamed that radio would be my gateway to so much.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Everyday presents new challenges! Getting interesting guests staying on top of current news! I have been criticized about everything from my southern twang to my looks but you learn that you cannot please people you have to walk in your purpose and trust the Creator!

The Epiphany Suite Radio Show highlights the best in entertainment, entrepreneurship and enlightenment of life. We use an outside of the box approach to encourage everyone to live the best life in their purpose! Every week Ms.Shala (me) and my co-host Jawz of Life discuss news, interview guest, laugh and play the best in music. When you come in The Suite you are coming home. Simply put if Oprah and Howard Stern had a baby…..it would be me!
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My determination and anything is possible attitude. I believe God created everyone for a purpose and it is up to us to use it for good or bad. We often look for this big epiphany to show us why we are here when in fact the smallest things show us everyday. When you open your eyes every morning there is where you find your purpose there is where you remind yourself to keep going even when it looks bad keep going and it that makes me stay the course. I realize there is something is this world that nobody can do but ME and I will not leave this earth until my assignment is fulfilled. And outside of that, my parents instilled in me an unstoppable work ethic so that always works.
