Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Hill.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Christian. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started making music seeing my brother AR rapping, every day we would just hop in his truck put on beats and just freestyle. I would never go to a real studio or drop any music because it was just a hobby for me. Truly, I always wanted to play sports until I got to the point where I had to start making my own money so my focus went elsewhere. One of my patnas, dropped a project and it really inspired me to put some work in. People would always ask when will I take it serious but I just felt like it wasn’t the right time, and was really unsure if I actually wanted to make music. It takes real money to consistently make good quality music. May 5, 2019 I dropped my first project on all major platforms “DYDB Business”, being honest terrible quality good lyrics “lol”. I rushed it and put no money into it I just wanted people to hear me. After that, I really just focused on getting in a real studio and networking with producers. Throughout 2019 I dropped 2 visuals and started working on my solo project “1st Quarter” I released on March 6, 2020. Be on the lookout for BeforeTheHalf dropping sometime in May & Halftime executively produced by BMO this summer
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t been so smooth, but I didn’t expect it to be. Anything that comes easy won’t last long & I’ll be here for a while. I’ve faced a lot of obstacles. The lost of my granddad, he’s the first person I ever looked up to. I’ve also lost a mother, but I know they’re proud of me. I’ve even lost ones that’s alive, but everything happens for a reason. It hasn’t been easy because people only support you when they see someone else do it. They could watch every video I post and never share it until they see their friend name under it. I’ve faced hatred and envy but that’s what mainly keeps me going, because that just means I’m doing something right. When it’s all said and done, I just want to take care of family.

4Lz Chill – Artist known for making vibes in the studio. Real Music with my own sound. Making my own wave. I’m proud of myself for actually progressing over time. I’m proud that I’m actually doing & not just talking.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I feel as I haven’t even achieved much, but dropping my first project and seeing people actually enjoy my music and want more.
