Hi Corey, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Corey “CJay” Braxton, I’m an 18 years resident of Atlanta, GA, by way of Detroit, MI… I studied Hospitality Administration in the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University with a concentration in Private & Country Club Management. I’m the Owner & Chief Therapist of Celestial HANDS Massage. We are a Full Service, Bed & Breakfast Spa, with an Aristocratic Theme (i.e.) Bridgerton by Shonda Rhimes. (We are the 1st Black Owned Spa entity of its kind in the Atlanta market)
Blessed with the “Gift of Touch” since childhood and thereby a trained and certified practitioner of “HOLISTIC” therapeutic body repair. CJay believes there’s ROOM on his table for YOU!!!
CJay specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage and Reflexology, but his “Claim to Fame” is his customized 4-Modal Massage Technique that incorporates all four massage modals and a full athletic stretching routine.
CJay, a passionate believer in the “Social Graces” saw his passion ignited as a student at institutions like Johnson & Wales University, Providence RI and Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA. He is the 2013 “WINNER” of the Georgia State Hospitality Colleges, John Jordan, Private Club Management Award.
Prior to massage, CJay worked extensively on staff orchestrating historic events at some of ATL’s most exclusive Private Clubs and Country Clubs some of which include the former 191 Club aka The Commerce Club, The Ansley Golf Club and the former Renaissance Club in Detroit Michigan.
He has former Corporate experience in Governmental Affairs with Atlanta’s Housing Authority and has served as Chief of Staff for the Honorable Brenda Muhammad, Former A.P.S School Board President.
He has had the pleasure of being asked to render services to several Celebrity Actors & Actresses in his Massage Therapy career, but most recently a Legendary Gospel Singer!! The Gospel Singer was so “IMPRESSED” with the “THERAPY” he received, he literally jumped off the table and gave a standing / clapping ovation for the service CJay had rendered.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey to Entrepreneurship is filled with many Twists, Turns & Curves….
The road is often paved with Denials, Betrayals and Usurps…
My story is no different…
My trek begin working in elite Private Country Clubs in Michigan & Georgia, working through the ranks into strategic upwardly mobile roles, an outlier for a Black Man in this market.
A lot of people of color were most often found working in service roles in the “Back of the House” and they were often PROUD to see my trajectory to the forefront, but that elevation came with a FIGHT!! I often found myself lifted as a Poster Boy for our people in the industry or so it felt, fighting battles of micro aggressions as I maneuvered through the business.

Approx. 15-17 Mins from the airport, in the Niskey Lake area of South Atlanta… Sits a quiet and serene Majestic Kingdom…
Grounds: The exterior of the Manor is an interwoven appeal of Victorian & Stately, Craftsmenship, adorned with The Royal Crests of The Celestial Manor, a richly manicured lawn, surrounded by Intricate Brick, and a Magical Moat of Red Mulch.
Evil Doers, nor their Spirits dare cross our paths…
Lobby:
There are several themes that permeate the inner outfit of our “Bed & Breakfast Spa,”starting with our Golden Lobby and Grand Stair Way, guarded by a Tin Solider, Captain Elliot, the lobby is an “Ode to the Royal’s of Great Britain,” and their Aristocracy, with hints of Fairytale mixed about (i.e.) The Princess & The Frog, The Lion King, etc.
This room also houses the Celestial “HAND” of POWER, the energy source of which our Massage Therapist’s draw their inspiration… Disney World has their Mickey Mouse “Ears”. We have the Celestial “HAND” of POWER!!
Guest “Stay Over” Room:
The Silver & Diamond themed “Guest Stay Over Room” is an Ode to “Old Hollywood Glamor” America’s Royalty with a Parisian Twist, we add additional accents to either Masculinize or Feminize the room depending on who’s occupying the space.
Equipped with High-Speed Internet, Flat Screen TV / Cable, Blue Ray and / or DVD Player, Laundry & Dry Cleaning Service, Private Bath & Wrapped Toiletries, Alarm Clock and Honor’s Amenities. On-Site Parking (Booked, separately from Massage / Spa services)
Meditation & Reflection Room:
Our Gentlemen’s themed Red Parlor Room aka The Meditation & Reflection Room is a space that would make any Lord of Old, beam with Pride, this room houses our Full Bar, High Tea & Wine Service and resembles a Victorian Drawing Room.
Shhh, this room also holds our Crown Jewels, with China & Tea Services so well sought, any Dowager Countess would be envious.
Breakfast Nook:
Our Country Kitchen, Breakfast Nook, is an “Ode to Traditional Southern Cooking” with a Downton Abbey style, Prairie Hutch, accented with decorative plates showcasing a Southern Belle in life’s daily pursuits. Our Chef’s cooking is sure to appeal to the most Distinguished Palate.
Consultation Office:
Our Consultation Office is a Trip through Sleeping Beauty’s Dark Forest in an Essence of Turquoise and Earth Tones. Luckily, we can “shake” you a little so you’re not lulled to sleep by its Majesty!!!
Massage & Spa Sanctuary:
Finally, our Massage & Spa Sanctuary, Rich in Earth Tone & Gold Accents, is an Ode to Ghanaian & Egyptian Royalty, arguably the “World’s First Royals”, this space is outfitted with accouterments befitting that history. Ghanaian Masks, Egyptian Hieroglyphs and a portrait of a Ghanaian Queen carved in oak are all standouts in this space of Relaxation & Rehabilitation.

I define “SUCCESS” as freedom, and whatever that means for you, for me it means the ability to have my financial needs met to be able to travel at my leisure and to be respected for the work I put out into the world.
