Today we’d like to introduce you to Damiana and Dale Trimble.
Damiana and Dale, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
For us, it all started in 2005 a year after we got married in Jacksonville, FL. We were very young in our early 20’s with high hopes and great expectations for our future. We dreamed relentlessly of becoming entrepreneurs. Everything seemed to inspire us no matter what or who it was the good, the bad, and the ugly. We were both working a 9 to 5 like most people, living from paycheck to paycheck scratching to make ends meet. This type of living motivated us to change and so we decided we would move to the Big Apple, New York to pursue our ambitions of becoming business owners. With only $3500 in savings we packed our things and headed north leaving our jobs, family, and friends behind. Once we arrived to New York, we quickly ran out of money and became homeless. We lived for months in the back of our Chevrolet Tahoe until we found employment. Before long, we were both hired and making a combined income of $112,000 which afforded us a nice apartment in New Jersey. After gaining employment and settling into our new place, our desire was still intense and set on becoming business owners. Our passion is design in all forms and we’re great at creating it, so for us it was obvious that this was the business we were destined to create and operate as our own. Day and night during our lunch breaks and after work we would go to Barnes & Nobles or Borders to gain as much knowledge possible to begin building our brand. It paid off, and we created and launched DT Webdesigns which is an abbreviation of both our names Dale and Damiana Trimble. It was a slow start in gaining the momentum we desired to generate income solely from our business so we could quit our jobs. The journey seemed so long because there was still so much for us to learn, but we were in it to win it. It seemed to everyone else like overnight success once the business took off but we knew better than they did. DT Webdesigns has changed dramatically over the years to tailor our services and designs to attract our specific client base. Today DT Webdesigns is a dominant presence and source in the marketplace for website design, flyers, logos, business card designs, banners, book covers, and so much more. We are glad to declare that our dreams have come true and yet still unfolding and our business is thriving!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, of course not. The road to business ownership is something you create as you ride along. The struggles for us were the lack of knowledge and experience in knowing what to do and when to do it. We had the talent and the drive but we had to gain the business acumen necessary to achieve the success we desired.

Our future plan is to grow our business in a way that we are able to have storefronts for our designs services. It will enable the customers to come to a local destination to speak with a graphic designer for their projects and transact any business needed for their project from that location with fast turnaround time and affordable pricing.
