Meet Daniel Jason of PZI Jeans in Tucker

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Jason.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Daniel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Our company’s story began when my wife, Claire Jason, faced a situation all too familiar to women. After decades of wearing jeans that just simply did not fit her curves, my wife and I sat down and said, “there has to be a better way” I had seen his wife struggle with ill-fitting jeans over the year, and decided it was as good a time as any, to revolutionize the market.

Claire agreed and so therefore, we founded PZI Jeans in 2002 out of the back of our Stone Mountain, Georgia Law Practice and have never looked back. PZI Jeans’ mission has always been to provide sophisticated women with trend conscious jeans that are designed for streamlined waists, fuller hips, thighs, and derrieres. The collections muse is for every mom, college grad, or executive that wants a custom fit without the custom price tags. We created the “Curve Appeal Niche” engineered to the hourglass woman in 2002.

We have continued to shape PZI Jeans into the international brand that it is today.

Has it been a smooth road?
Well, I wouldn’t say smooth. We have surely been faced with many challenges as a lot of denim and retail brands have over the last several years. I would have to say it is always a challenge making sure we continue to provide our customers with premium trend-conscious designs. The behavior pattern of our customer constantly changes. We have to ensure we remain on the forefront of the denim industry.

So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the PZI Jeans story. Tell us more about the business.
PZI Jeans is a denim brand designed to fit the woman with curves who struggles to find denim to fit her streamlined waist, fuller hips and curvy bottom. We provide real women with real curves the ability to enjoy their lifestyle by wearing stylish jeans with comfort. PZI Jeans are available in sizes 4 – 18 and caters to short, regular, long AND extra-long legs, and has been re-shaping the denim world through its innovative fit, great quality and continual search for new fabrications and finishes.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The denim industry is forever changing. One important change/trend we at PZI Jeans noticed over the last several years is that comfort and fit are important to the PZI Jeans woman. She wants to go from day to night in her jeans, and therefore, we strive to provide styles and designs that cater to her lifestyle from when she wakes up to go to work, to when she attends social events at night.
