Today we’d like to introduce you to Dantii Moore.
Hi Dantii, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Starting back to Mid-Spring 2014. I was 23, just got my first studio apartment in The bx in NYC. Months after I got fired from my first Job as a Vegetarian Cook, might I add I was 6-7 months pregnant with my first child. Life was happening and coming towards me FULL FORCE with everything possible and I was not prepared for any of these changes! With so Many new unexpected responsibilities happening all at once it didn’t phase me much, but My son’s father and I needed all the help! I wanted more for myself than banking on my savings and maternity leave check coming in on the 1st of every month. I was determined to not give up my lifelong dream career and purpose as a Chef but at that current time in my life that baby of a dream needed to be placed on the back burner because God had different plans for me.
*** Fast-forwarding months later. I’m a New Mom and Milk pumping machine to a fast-growing baby boy which meant around the clock demands for milk due to the fact that my son was solely breastfed. Thankful for my mother she educated me on the benefits of proper eating and informed me that what I consume Mentally, Emotionally, and Physically can and WILL affect my baby through my breast milk. Doing my own research for so many lengthy hours and days on the internet and attending some of the W.I.C. Program Breastfeeding Awareness conferences I found many healthy and holistic alternatives to help aid my troublesome milk supply issues. Understanding how hard yet easily accessible all this information was for me to find out on my own once I took the time and had patience.
I then realized that there had to have been an abundance of new mothers, or even new to the breastfeeding world that were having the same difficulty as I was having.
At that point in time, I came to the epiphany I needed to be the bridge to the other side of Wholesome Wellness helping people learn to love and be mindful of what we consume in our bodies. Starting with the way we need to learn to love, how we mentally connect with others and becoming mindful of what we consume in our bodies and how it can have effects on the way we are in tune with our soul. For New Mums and also, their Lil Muffins’ and I can’t forget about the Papas. Even If You aren’t A Mum or Papa just Yet, Join The Lifestyle!
……anddddd THAT’s how MunchinMumma was Born!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting as an Instagram Food Photography Page for fun showcasing My Vegan & Vegetarian Dishes I made while working as a hotel cook I decided it was time to Introduce Myself as A Struggling new Vegan / Vegetarian but I also needed to share my story and tips on how my change of eating as well as Lifestyle to a more Natural way has improved my skin, hair, and overall body PH balance.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m A Woman of Many Talents but First and foremost I’m a Chef (a stylish PlantBased Chef to be exact lol). My sole focus is having a platform to implement a clean and more proper way of eating & educating the natural way of Improving Our Everyday Life with the same creations our Heavenly Father gave us from the beginning of time!
Creating an ambient environment while preparing healthy meals that nourish your body is highly important to me. From the music playlist straight down to my choice of outfit (I prefer cooking in satin or lounging robe from my accessory line). It’s always a VIBE but I personally believe once you know that you are a radiant VIBE nothing and no one can ever replicate you!
How do you define success?
Speaking from my point in life now…..success isn’t necessarily defined by the amount of money you have gained (although it’s a nice add-on with the level up) but it’s about the lessons that we’ve learned along the way in our journey and appreciating and recognizing our own small blessings along the way until we reach our own pinnacle of what we believe is the grand accomplishment!
