Hi Danyetta, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was unexpectedly laid off from my corporate job. Newly married and caught completely off guard, I turned towards my God-given talents and passion to begin building a legacy for my family where the rug could not be pulled from underneath me.
After giving birth to my beautiful son Chase, as much as I loved my new role I also noticed that I was losing my individual identity. Besides being wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, etc. I needed a place to just be Danyetta! Ladii D Inc. has brought that balance back to my life while also giving me a chance to enhance the beauty of other women & exchange life-changing conversations and experiences!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has been a pretty smooth road. Learning how to balance it all, corporate work, Ladii D, and home life has been the hardest part. I want to be able to say “yes” to everyone and every event, and I’ve had to learn that’s not possible. Choosing to say yes to the opportunities that truly align with the mission and vision of Ladii D Inc. and understanding that if unable to say yes, if it’s meant to be, the opportunity will reappear.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a licensed esthetician and permanent makeup artist who specializes in microblading/microshading brows, individual lash extensions, and makeup. I am known for my applications appearing natural. My goal is to enhance the natural beauty of my clients while still allowing them to recognize themselves. I truly focus on educating my clients throughout any service and reinforcing the fact that treating themselves to a pamper session with my services is a way for them to pour back into themselves everything that they constantly pour into others daily.
Any big plans?
We are looking to add at least one more service in 2023! Another added “high maintenance” service to be able to operate in a “low maintenance” manner daily and still enhance our natural beauty.
