Today we’d like to introduce you to Dayla Webster.
Hi Dayla, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am an 18 years old 3x business owner, YouTuber, and influencer. I have three businesses. I sell fully customized ready to wear wigs, women’s clothing, and I do graphic designs. I started my first business in 2018 selling handmade lipglosses at school shortly after I created my very own website and tried to sell online. I didn’t get many sales at all. I got very discouraged so I took a break then I later renamed that business to daylasdollhouse selling lipglosses as well as lash strips & bonnets when I first started of course, things were not easy but I kept going and later started to get many online orders selling out super fast and seeing lots of revenue then later helps young ladies just like myself start there very own businesses on top of being a YouTuber and influencer. I first started youtube in 2016. I first picked up a camera and quickly noticed this is what I love to do. I started off filming pranks and challenges and later got into public interviews as I grew up so did my content I now film lifestyle vlogs and create hair and makeup tutorials for young ladies like myself to learn how to look extra beautiful and feel confident…
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not still to this day, things get bumpy and being sad and discouraged when not getting orders and views is real. But you have to keep going and be consistent then you will see progress.
