Today we’d like to introduce you to Dean Charles Anthony II.
Dean Charles, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
So, I have been a professional photographer for about five years now. Started when I was in college at Murray State University where I bought my first camera, a Canon T2i and the ball has been rolling ever since. My primary work has been in the political field, but photography has been what has kelp me balanced. I recently moved back home to GA in the fall of 2017 and hit the ground running. Now that I am back, I have no plans to leave. I simply want to continue to grow and mature as a professional and an artist.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it has not been a smooth road. I have struggled with a large learning curve that I am still mastering both as an artist and a professional. Photography is not a cheap craft, and it took almost three years to get an honest return on my investments. Being truly honest, I am just now feeling that my work is being acknowledged, but that’s what makes it exciting. When someone looks at my work and compares it to the next person, it gives me a direction of where I should go if they book me I continue on my current path if they choose another I look at what I can improve on.
Please tell us about ANT P.I.C.
So, my business is ANT P.I.C., we specialize in photography for portraits, weddings, events, headshots, and fashion. Our motto- Ant P.I.C. Where your Moments become Memories.
What I am most proud about is the experience my clients receive when they book. I don’t think is crazy to say that I will be the last photographer that you ever book.
What set us apart is quality in both customer experience and product.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I could start over, I would not have waited to put myself out there I have added philosophy to my life that being, you can only criticize what you have done not what you are considering. Simply put, you can only judge, fix, or criticize completed work.
