Today we’d like to introduce you to Dejah Myers.
Dejah Myers is currently 20-year-old Author of #Boss Survival 101 and is the owner of a homemade based natural organic hair product line called CurlEnvyCo. The reason she created this line is because she’s currently in college and trying to pay her way through college. Dejah is natural her self. One summer she was in her mother’s kitchen and started doing treatments for her hair and her sister’s hair and noticed that her hair started to grow once she started making her own products herself. With the support from her friends and family, Dejah had started selling her products at her school. She volunteers in vendor events and sells them on her school campus. Dejah is also an owner of a Networking Event team by the name of CurlPreneur based in Atlanta, Ga where she host her pop up shops, Brunch, and workshops. With Dejah being a young business owner herself, she loves supporting others with small businesses and is wanting to help others throughout their journey.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a full-time college student, having a full-time job and a business altogether was not easy. Theirs 24 hours in a day, I definitely used my time wisely while building Curl Envy Company. It wasn’t easy, there were times I felt very stress and even get discouraged, but the support of my customers, friends, family, and the media kept me going. Curl Envy Co still has MORE work to do, I can honestly see my company become more big within the future. Having a business, you’re going to be running up and down 24/7 I can’t tell you when was the last time I had a full eight hours of sleep. But I always say this to myself, “Have patience, keep God first and to think about what my future would be like within five years from now”.

Curl Envy Company is known for our Natural Organic Hair Products. By the way, our products are homemade and chemical free. Curl Envy Company is proud to specialize in Natural Hair Care for all Hair types. Each and every product we make are for everyone. Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
1. Never compare your work towards others, everyone works differently.
2. Quit Procrastinating, if you want it GO GET IT.
3. Stay motivated, there will be times where you feel like the world is on your shoulders but you do have to remember that the outcome in the future will be worth it. Just smile you’ll live longer!
4. Do this for YOU, don’t do it just because you want “attention” let this be a stress reliever for you.
5. Most importantly INVEST in yourself and keep God first. You wouldn’t go far without him.
