Meet Diane Daniel of Enjoy Life Cleaning Services in Douglasville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diane Daniel.

Diane, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My husband and I moved down to Georgia in 2005 with four children under seven and no jobs. Everyone thought we had lost our minds! Did I mention I had never been to Georgia before. My husband flew down for a couple of days and said it was nice so…We put our house on the market it sold in four days, hired the movers loaded up our children in the minivan and off we went on our new adventure! We had a plan to start our own cleaning service and so we did. Our goal was to be home for the kids. Also, have the flexibility to be there for school events and get them on and off the bus. Hear about their days and be involved parents.

I believe that you should always give more than you take and you can never out give, giving!

The vision of Enjoy Life is a world that is happier because of the service we provide to families in our community.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Absolutely not a smooth ride! The biggest struggle was ME! I got in my own way at times and stunted my growth as a business owner. I thought I had to do everything. I have an amazing business partner that I am blessed to call my husband that was suggesting all of the things we needed to progress in our business. I finally listened to his advice, when I reached burnout and so then I started delegating and building an AMAZING team of servant leaders! We automated processes, implemented systems and created a company culture that builds on each team members strengths.

Enjoy Life Cleaning Services – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We help families Enjoy Life one clean house at a time. We help employers maintain healthy workplaces for their employees. We clean. You Relax. We provide residential and commercial cleaning services.

The thing I am most proud of is my Phenomenal team and Cleaning For a Reason! Each of our team members takes a love language assessment. This allows us to communicate to each of them in a way they can understand and receive that they are appreciated.

We are a love language company. We lead in love. We always think the best of others. We ask that our team and clients Lean in and tell us what they need and trust us to care. We believe in Boundaries for our team and Clients. Doing whats OK and speaking up about what’s not. We believe open communication keeps everything in alignment.

We Donate cleaning services to families undergoing Cancer treatment in our community. Each month we sponsor two families and provide services for two months at no cost to them through the Cleaning For A Reason nonprofit organization.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success as how many people I can impact in a positive way on a daily basis. From the 1st call into our office, giving each client the time they need to tell us about there needs. Greeting them with a smile at the front door. Serving in excellence. Taking care of the needs of our team and clients. Sowing into others with Kindness.

Success to me is building others up with kindness and serving in excellence.
