Today we’d like to introduce you to Ebony Ellis.
Hi Ebony, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started as a devoted Dental Professional with nearly eight years of assisting under my belt and in 2020 while pregnant with my second child my husband encouraged me to come up with a business / brand with passion behind it… I always loved to host and to make and serve drinks so Bartending instantly came to mind! It took me a while to come up with a name and Logo but after a lot of digging I came up with FLIPPED it just made sense! shortly after getting the business aspect of it all secured I was ready to put my brand out there! I made a quick Ig account and posted a few times and locked in my first gig. After my very first event word of mouth took over and it’s been a ton of bookings back to back!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I can honestly say so far so good and I pray it stays that way. I know that with anything great comes some challenges and I’m prepared to take them on as they come … but I always remember for every obstacle comes a learning experience.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are a mobile bartending experience. We bring the mobile bar to you! Usually, we are the life of the party we seriously bring the vibes! We’re known for providing quality service, smooth communication and honest service and clean appearances (which is very important). The clients that I work with are what makes me the most proud, What an absolute pleasure for someone to inquire about my services and to actually book…then once the event is over we leave as friends 🙂 . FLIPPED ATL doesn’t just show up, set up, serve and leave we actually emerge ourselves at the events, engage with the guest and leave great impressions.
How do you think about luck?
I’m not one to call it luck. Definitely, God’s doing. He has given me the strength and wisdom to pull this entire brand to life!
