Meet Edith Moreno

Today we’d like to introduce you to Edith Moreno.

Edith, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Dreaming… I always knew I want something better in life because since I was a little girl, I have want to work for what I love. I have learned to manage my time with my family and how to work in order to reach my dreams.

It all started when I took an auto makeup class it was then when I discover my passion to become a makeup artist is such a pleasure to see a smile and my clients face after the results, I just love to interact with people.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Definitely, not. I’m a daughter of a single mom, who is in amazing women, by the way, there for a had to work twice as hard to achieve my goals. I know nothing is easy in life, but now, as of mother of two beautiful kids, the most difficult part is to split time between my family, my work and my dreams, but I also know that that’s the only way to be successful in life. Thank God, I have an amazing life partner who is my husband that always give me support and courage to always be better.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I’m a licensed Cosmetology and certified makeup artist. My specialty is makeup and hair Stylist. I have the fortune on been requested to work and collaborate for local TV and radio personalities, as well in magazines and photoshoots for a model agency. I recently joined a makeup company as an assistant instructor…this company is going to all over the United States Instructing people in the makeup industry and I’m part of the team in the Atlanta area. I consider that my personality and my principles such as loyalty, thank full, sincere, hard worker and a true friend and definitely I’m a person who thinks the family is first.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I’m not a big fan of good or bad luck. I actually think that everything happens for a reason, good or bad circumstances is what makes you see the reality of life. Prepare and unprepared, that’s what makes the difference. I always try to be prepared.
