Today we’d like to introduce you to Elijah Tutt.
Elijah S. Tutt is the President of Resurgence Consulting LLC, a contract and consulting firm specializing in government relations and real estate. He is also a millennial influencer and trailblazer. He is a graduate of Atlanta Metropolitan State College, where he majored in Business Administration and Political Science. He also holds an MBA from Georgia State University. Upon graduating, he worked with the City of Atlanta, which positioned him to enter the realm of politics. Elijah ran a successful campaign in 2017, leading him into a runoff for the State Senate District 39.
Elijah also owns a women’s clothing boutique specializing in St. John Knits. He also owns an ice-cream street cart and a snack shop in downtown Atlanta. Elijah has had the opportunity to learn and work with much high profile local, national, and international leaders. He served as interim executive assistant to the Ambassador of Luxembourg from 2014-2015 under President Barack Obama’s administration. Elijah founded the South West Atlanta chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (S.C.L.C) at the young age of sixteen. This was the largest chapter in S.C.L.C history with over 400 members, gaining membership through his civic, economic and career efforts.
Elijah has received numerous awards and accommodations. He was recently recognized by ICON Beauty and Fashion Award (Political Influencer), Women of Wealth Magazine (Men Shaping the World), MBQ Magazine-Millennial Influencer Award, National Jewish Federation of North America-Civic Engagement Award, In the Spirit Award (Millennial of the Year), The Presidential Medal of Service Award and The Mary Parker Foundation-Raising Star Award. He serves on the Fulton County Commission of Disability Affairs Board, which he was appointed in 2020. Elijah is a pillar in the community and he consistently supports and gives back with his time, talents, and resources. His mantra is Teamwork makes the dream work! In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, reading, and swimming. He loves his learning conversations with his grandfather, who has a wealth of knowledge about life. Lastly, he simply likes to spend quality time with his family and friends. Elijah resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been smooth but, in anyone’s life and in business, it’s not always easy. Sometimes you must look at bad situations/mistakes and see how well you’ve learned from them or did you grow. Growth is the process of learning from prior experiences.

Resurgence Consulting is a premier consulting firm that specializes in B2B consulting, helping minority business owners get their documents and files together to be able to submit RFP’s and we have a real estate sales/management team.
As owner and operator, I do it all. I am a one on one kind of person and I like to make sure my clients know that I’m there with them throughout their business needs or consulting. It is very often that business consultants will go into a contract with their client and the client has no idea what their business really needs to succeed. When that happens, the consulting firm that the client has hired often treats the client(s) as if they are all the same and often times don’t really tailor the services specifically for that individual client. I try my best with each client to give them an experience in business consulting by specially crafting their needs and wants into their own package and ideas so that it will be fun and rewarding for them when they actually start their business or maybe even restructuring their business.
As a company, my staff and I are most proud of the recurring customers we have and that we all feel the need to know that the customer is always right. We strive daily to achieve our internal goals as well as the expectations and goals that our clients see that we should. I am most proud that I was able to take a business idea that was intended to help others and now we are becoming leaders in the consulting and real estate market. We are in a league of our own and that we are able to be dedicated to each service and client that we have.
One of my favorite quotes that I tell most new clients is that “we are small enough to know you and large enough to grow you.” My favorite quote of all times that I say to myself daily It’s All In the State of Mind by Walter D. Wintle.
