Today we’d like to introduce you to Elle Jackson.
Elle, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started Elegant Event Staffing & Services in 2013 when I noticed the high demand for hospitality staff for both private and corporate clients.
It was an easy transition from the restaurant industry working my way up from hostess to server, bartender, etc. I already had an idea of what people wanted and needed I just had to find the staff. My background in HR and management really aided me in a lot of processes that I followed as well.
I love doing what I do and what start out as a hobby ended up growing into a booming business!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Overall it has been a very rewarding journey for me. Like anything, however, there are always bumps in the road. I find it most challenging when there is high turnover from staff securing full-time jobs but I always gain excitement from creating new teams to work with!
Elegant Event Staffing & Services – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My company specializes in providing professional staff members, more specifically, bartenders and servers for special events such as weddings, corporate parties and more.
We also work with caterers, wedding planners, and the likes if they ever need extra hands for one of their events!
We are known for our professional uniforms, our warm demeanor, and excellent guests service skills!
I am most proud that my company is recognized throughout Atlanta, we have great reviews & referrals, and we are growing!
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success based on growth. If my company is producing more revenue, doing more events and my staff is constantly working I believe that’s success.
Ideally, I would want to base success on what’s in my savings account- but I’m working on becoming a better saver 🙂
