Meet Euricka Alugas of Vision 2 Victory

Today we’d like to introduce you to Euricka Alugas.

Vision 2 Victory is in business to save lives. On August 29, 2005, Safe Kit’s owner, Euricka was stuck in her home during Hurricane Katrina surrounded by 20 ft. of water. She had no way to get out and that meant no one could come to her rescue due to the area she lived in deemed as not being an emergency rescue zone. She was left to wait for a week until proper government rescue teams came to her aid.

While waiting surrounded by water she begins to think about what if there were a safety program and tools for a family that may encounter inevitable disastrous weather like Katrina again? Euricka knew that this could save many lives. Fast forward, years later in 2017, they’ve once again experienced several unnecessary casualties due to Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.

Today, Euricka and Vision 2 Victory’s staff members know for a fact, if people had the knowledge and emergency tools to survive a deadly flood this would eliminate 99% of the unnecessary deaths due to flooding.

Something as simple as educating the public with a flood emergency plan paired with critical tools needed that are provided in each Safe Kit in an emergency situation giving people all across the nation an opportunity to exit safely from their homes upon harmful flood waters arising.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We enjoy circumstances at Vision 2 Victory we invite challenges it makes us stronger. Challenges are what we call our struggles. The importance of growth within any business is knowing that you are capable of winning once you’ve put forth the effort to simply try.

Without circumstances, you’ll never know if you can win if you never engage in a healthy challenge. We have encountered some interesting lessons but we’ve managed to continue moving forward because we know that this product will help millions and equally save many lives over a period of time.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Vision 2 Victory – what should we know?
We started Vision 2 Victory as a company that assisted the community by helping them create healthier happier lives through public workshops that taught physical fitness, healthy clean eating, and a calm mental focus through positive thought.

Our main concern was that we felt as if we had so much more to offer than just that. It was as if we felt that we weren’t doing enough. Mind you as I looked around year after year witnessing so many unfortunate deaths due to natural disasters and flash floods. I wanted to then create a vehicle that would capture a world where we could feel safe again even during our most vulnerable time when Mother Nature unpreventably would strike again.

Today our most proudest moment has to be creating the Safe Kit it is a product that we know works and eventually will be in every home. What sets us apart from other companies is that we are fortunate to be the only company offering a flood emergency preparedness system that really works!

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
We owe everything to our community! They’ve been our biggest supporters and cheerleaders.

Essentially we know that when people work together to build a better tomorrow and an easier life for others this opens the doors to live a healthier happier life for all involved. Creating success for everyone.
