Meet Felicity Noire of Snatched and Layed in Metro Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Felicity Noire.

Felicity, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
After walking away from a teaching profession in South Carolina, I knew my light needed to shine brighter than the confinement of a smaller city which I resided in.

I navigated through many professions and decided being my own BOSS was the title that fit the best, thanks to a former boss of mine named Sabrina Peterson. I wanted a lifestyle change so I decided to step out on faith six years ago, and I’ve never looked back since. I walk in my truth today because of the sacrifices and mistakes I’ve made in the past, but I never forgot what it took to stand in my truth today.

Has it been a smooth road?
No one held my hand, no one gave me a held out, no one stepped up to say I believe you until I met TS MADISON. I didn’t have a business plan nor did I have a template to follow, all I relied on was the knowledge Sabrina instilled in me by working me 10-14 hours daily at the Glam Bar salon. The road to where I am was not smooth but I embrace every bump, pothole, and stop sign I’ve had to face. The struggle of being your own boss/entrepreneur was a combination of mental & physical. Sometimes mentally, I had the ideas but couldn’t physically obtain the capital, or I had the capital and couldn’t mentally construct my vision into a tangible reality.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Snatched and Layed is my baby, I created it to embody all things BEAUTIFUL. It’s a beauty brand that helps uplift the confidence of others. My brand includes shapewear for women/men, undergarments for women, hair extensions, and newly added eyelash products. We are actually in the finishing stages of rebranding so our platform is a known beauty entity, and I’m so excited to release so many new products that will make people feel beautiful and confident. Snatched and Layed is in competition with no one, we truly feel it’s enough success for each small business to enjoy a piece of the pie.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Atlanta is definitely the place to be right now for starting your own business, and let’s not forget the booming numbers flocking to our city due to the film & beauty industry. Anyone thinking of taking that leap of faith, I’d say DO IT! Here in Atlanta you can be whoever and whatever you set your mind to be, I know this first hand!
