Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabby Brock.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Gabby. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I stumbled upon the cookie world in 2015 right after my youngest daughter’s first birthday party. A dear friend who attended the party tried one of the decorative cookies I had made for the occasion and asked if I had ever thought about selling them. It was like a light bulb went off in my head. The next morning, I designed my webpage to display my cookie designs and haven’t looked back ever since. I started by selling to my friends and family, from there my business started gaining traction. Throughout the past four years, I’ve established a large client base through the consistency of my work product, professionalism and strong partnerships.
When business started to pick up, I obtained a cottage foods license and formed an LLC to fully establish Cookie Creations by Gabby.
From my simple beginnings as a stay at home mom looking for a creative outlet, decorating cookies has become something I love to do, it has connected me with an amazing community of people in the cookie world and continues to stretch me as I seek inspiration for new designs and continually refine my craft.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Even though decorating cookies can be a lot of fun, it is also very time-consuming. It takes an extraordinary amount of time and workto do it right. My biggest challenge is balancing the many roles needed to make my business successful… and doing them all myself! Talking to clients, marketing the business, baking and decorating, inventory, are all necessary pieces in need of my time and energy.
There are seasons where time management becomes a challenge especially with the unpredictable nature of motherhood. Time management is an area I’m always working on, it’s a continual challenge. Being extremely organized and having an established workflow are tremendously helpful, however, they require constant discipline on my part.
In stressful seasons, I reach out to my local baking community for help. They have lifted me up when I have needed it and I love opportunities where I can reciprocate that back to them as well.

Cookie Creations by Gabby is a Cottage foods bakery that specializes in homemade custom decorated sugar cookies mainly for birthdays, weddings, wedding showers, baby showers, graduations, corporate events or any other reason for a celebration! I love being a small part of my clients special day! I guess my attention to detail is what makes my cookies special and my clients so happy!
For Holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and Special events like back to school, teacher appreciation week, Mother’s Day, Pop-ups, we offer cute cookie sets, in different designs, you can choose from for your loved ones or to indulge yourself!
We also offered a few fun cookie class this year and will start offering more soon.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Cookie Creations by Gabby will continue to focus on custom orders to serve our clientele and will be offering more classes soon.
Becoming a brick and mortar is something I think about a lot… who knows what the future holds?
