Gerald Bass, born and raised in Decatur, GA, always knew he would be an entrepreneur. After attending Florida A&M (FAMU) and marching in the prestige Marching 100 band in Tallahassee for three years, Gerald’s love for music sparked his desire to start his own Party/Concert Promotion company. This desire brought him back to Atlanta to attend Georgia State University and start his own entertainment business, Hard Hittaz, Inc. while pursuing his degree in Business Marketing, Gerald diligently worked to make a name for Hard Hittaz, Inc. Going to school by day, working a job in the evening, and working his business from night until morning, his work ethic and drive soon paid off. Hard Hittaz had become a household name in the nightlife & artist management scene in Atlanta. Right before earning his degree in 2010, Gerald left his job and became a full-time entrepreneur.
This entrepreneurial spirit stayed with him even after he left the entertainment industry. Shortly before leaving the entertainment industry, one of his friends introduced him to the Network Marketing industry. Still new to the industry, Gerald did not take any action because his entertainment business still was doing well. After taking a decline in his income due to the economy changing, he began to get serious and truly learn the industry. He decided that he was not going back to a job and invested in himself. He hired a coach and began to learn the ins and outs of online marketing.
A few weeks after that, he made his first $1000 day online, a day he will never forget. He continued to have more days like that all by making the decision to learn his craft and invest in himself by getting the right mentor/coach. Three months later, after launching in a new project in network marketing, he excelled in being one of the top 5% income earners in the company within just 70 days, all while helping others do the same. In two years, he was ranked amongst the top 3% income earners in the company and has assisted several other individuals in making tens and thousands of dollars in and out of network marketing.
Through the mentorship of world-class coaches, Gerald went on to become a Business A coach who continues to share his knowledge and expertise to his clients. Not only does he coach entrepreneurs and business owners on how to start or grow their business online, but he has also become a powerful speaker and trainer. He started the business the Rise Of The One Percent in October 2016, which has coaching and training programs for entrepreneurs and business owners looking to rapidly grow their business with simplified online marketing strategies and he also has a digital marketing agency where he and his team assist businesses with growing their social presence, and generating more qualified leads and clients online.
Gerald gauges his success not by the amount of money he makes or how successful he has been in business, but by how many lives he can impact. He feels his purpose is to empower, develop, grow, and help so many more entrepreneurs and business owners take their business, lifestyle, and income to the next level.
Has it been a smooth road?
Not having enough knowledge in the beginning which led to many costly mistakes. Getting scammed in the beginning. Losing money on certain investments.

I love the opportunities that I have been able to take part in over the years of being in the city and I like entertainment here in the city as well from the restaurants, events, and nightlife. I don’t like the traffic.
