Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Malak.
Gina, before we jump into specific questions about the company, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am a Healthcare Interoperability Engineer. As a consultant for over 20 years, I have worked with Hospitals and Medical Universities throughout the US with building their electronic medical records interfaces and web services. I started my company, BlockInterop, Inc., along with my partners to address Meaningful Use initiatives in Healthcare.
Our business is Digitial Health. BlockInterop is an IT Solutions company that specializes in the Feasibility Studies, Analysis and Implementation of API Interoperability Resources, DApp, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Tokenization Models, and Blockchain products and services.
We are currently raising capital from accredited investors by way of a Reg D. Our soft cap is $2 million, and our hard cap is $6 million. We have been fortunate to have angel investors on board who believe in our vision to help make Healthcare interoperable.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Startup culture is competitive, but it’s highly important to collaborate. We have to build a strong support network to learn from each other and share lessons learned for positive growth.
