Meet Harrison White of GILTY as charged

Today we’d like to introduce you to Harrison White.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Harrison. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have always, always been in awe of stylish women. My grandmother owned a women’s clothing boutique in Asheville when I was growing up, and I absolutely LOVED going there, playing dress up and helping her style the mannequins in the window. She definitely is the reason I got into clothes in the first place!

I LOVE to shop, and I started posting my outfits on social media. Immediately I was getting a ton of questions on where I got things and what to wear, so I decided to give blogging a shot! That was five years ago, and starting GILTY is by far one of the best AND hardest things I have ever done.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Oh goodness, no! haha I am organized and neat, but I am a procrastinator and get bored easily, so consistency with posting and making the time to blog after a long day at work is something I am working on this year.

My pep talks to myself (and anyone else who needs it), is: Be patient. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else, because no one else is in the same phase of blog life as you are. Your blog is just that… it’s YOURS. Don’t worry about anyone else’s opinions or whether or not they will like your style, because not everyone will. That and, if you like it, WEAR IT. Put that on my tombstone. ha!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with GILTY as charged. – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.

GILTY as charged is a life + style blog, designed to inspire people to wear what they like, and take on life, one really great outfit at a time.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
WELL! We just finally moved into our first home, so my next goal is to start blogging more design inspired posts. Stay tuned!

Longer term, I hope to continue to grow GILTY, maybe inspire someone to try that new trend they’ve been curious about, or just keep making them laugh. The rest is just a bonus. 🙂
