Today we’d like to introduce you to Henry Burbano a.k.a. Seich.
Seich is the new figure in the Latin POP genre that is breaking barriers as an independent singer-songwriter. With more than 200,000 followers on social networks, the largest TV and radio networks (CNN, Univisión, Telemundo, EXA Radio, Top 40, etc.) have opened their doors to promote this new talent. His perseverance and passion for music have been the primary values that have allowed him to share his music internationally.
SEICH moved to the United States from Quito, Ecuador at the age of 12 in pursuit of his dreams. His musical career includes being the guest artist of the legendary rock band MANA in the Gwinnett arena and Phillips in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. He has shared the stage as a guitarist for Luis Fonsi at Premios Lo Nuestro and Joey Montana in Premios Juventud. In addition, Seich has been the opening act for many artists which include Grammy award-winning artists CAMILA and La Ley. In 2019, the Ecuadorian artist was the official judge for LA VOZ Georgia by TELEMUNDO. Also, Seich has been the guest artist for galas and music festivals with the Chamber of Commerce, Latino Festival of Six Flags, Fiestas Patrias, Ecuadorian Association in which he was honored for his artistic life and collaboration with the community, Forum C3 in Guadalajara, to name a few. In October 2019, Seich begins his media tour to promote his new single “Besame (kiss me).” Thanks to the support of his followers, Seich was the winner in the Latin Artist category of Latin artist of the year at the Georgia Music Awards
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Life will always find a way to surprise you. You have to take every struggle not as an obstacle, but more of a life lesson. You must love the process and learn that a career in the entertainment scene is not a sprint, but a marathon.
Please tell us about your music.
I am a Latin bilingual singer-songwriter.
I am well known in the scene as a great signer who loves Latin pop music but also has a deep love for the electric guitar and is not afraid to include it as part of the show.
I am most proud of the difference I am making through my lyrics and energy with my fans. I love the fact that we are building a strong fan base that continues to expand.
I believe in the Latin pop scene we forget the message we are trying to share with the kids. To me, the process of writing coherent lyrics is just as important as writing a catchy hook. As they say, when you are happy you listen to the beat and when you are in your feelings, you listen to the lyrics. I want to be able to capture both worlds of the audience.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Nothing, if any life lessons would have been different I wouldn’t be where I am today.
