Today we’d like to introduce you to Hero The Band.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We are Hero The Band, four biological brothers from Decatur Ga. We would have to say that our start came from our mother and father who both are musically gifted, and we all grew up singing in the church. Car rides were the best, is that when a song came on the radio you would have thought we had been touring all around the world as a family six-part harmony group.
Fast forward to our high school days is when we decided to start a RandB group by the name of “Inseparable.” We lasted a year and a half before we decided to shift our energy toward a rock/alternative feel. Creating Rock music was an exciting venture for us, and at the time growing up in Decatur Ga, making this type of music was more of an exception and not the rule. For a number of years, we spent time jamming out as a band in our parent’s living room.
Studying bands such as Queen, U2, Jimi Hendrix, Coldplay among a list of many more on youtube really helped shape our style of sound and musical composition. It wasn’t until we shot our first music video that we started to see our career take a turn in the direction of booked shows and making several musical appearances.
Has it been a smooth road?
Our journey on this road has had its ups and downs as in any life. Through our journey struggles, we have learned to always be ourselves no matter the cost. Learning how to be a professional on the road as we develop our entrepreneurial spirits has been challenging as we learn about this industry. Are we perfect? no, yet we know how to turn dark moments into positive moments by expressing our self through our creativity.
There aren’t too many struggles that hold us down, because we view our struggles as a state of mind. We view each day as an opportunity to start with a fresh breath and to take a new view of ourselves in the mirror of life. We understand that with God everything is possible and that we need to appreciate what we have because others may have worse circumstances to deal with.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Hero The Band LLC story. Tell us more about the business.
HTB is a band that serves people seeking a way out of what seems to be a “dead in” in one’s life. We create visuals made up of love, self-awareness, social issues, and dreams.
We promote the idea of finding one’s ultimate self. One event we have found to bring our community together is our HTB Mansion Party Experiences. This experience is something close to Woodstock in Atlanta, young creatives from all walks of life come together connecting and building towards a better future by sharing music in one space. It’s not about doing what it is that you have been taught, yet it is about finding a new way, the way God speaks to you.
We are most proud of our growth since 2010 doing what others might have been afraid to do and maybe some just never thought about. Meeting and becoming friends with individuals who inspired us to do music. We are just proud to actually be consistent with an idea we came up with almost 10years ago and to see the positive impact it has on people around the world is something that can’t be explained just lived.
Where do you see your industry going over the next 5-10 years? Any big shifts, changes, trends, etc?
We see our industry in the next 5-10 years constantly growing as we have already seen young men and women being inspired by what it is that we are doing; many young people are picking up instruments, singing, creating events and becoming the owners of their own business.
HTB is in constant, forward motion and we are growing from day to day and year to year exponentially. Five to ten years from now we plan to participate in this evolving world as we use our musical talents to challenge mindsets to shift into paradigms of love and hope and unity promoting the idea that all humanity can create and do whatever we wish or desire.
