Today we’d like to introduce you to Janaya J.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Janaya. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started MEET THE CREATORS in December of 2018. At the time, my videography skills were a little shaky, so I decided that I wanted to work on it more. I decided to start MEET THE CREATORS because I believed that I could create a groundbreaking platform that everyone could benefit from in some way. I dedicated my platform to the arts because I feel as if people involved in the art community do not get the recognition that they deserve. In order to give artists more recognition, I decided that MEET THE CREATORS should be a platform that caters to all artist no matter how big, or no matter how small. From there, I gathered a team of dedicated people that I knew to help out with the platform, and now here we are.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Managing MEET THE CREATORS has not been a smooth road. We have faced many struggles along the way such as not finding participants to be on the show and even communication problems between team members. Even though our team has its ups and downs, at the end of the day, we have still worked super hard to be where we are today. I am so grateful for our team members and other supporting staff that help out with MEET THE CREATORS. They are greatly appreciated.
MEET THE CREATORS – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
MEET THE CREATORS is a web show that was created to give all artists the opportunity to create and share their art by participating in fun challenges each season. We specialize in art. Everything that we do on our platform is dedicated to the arts. We are known for our very competitive challenges each season, and we are also known for our hilarious outtakes that appear at the end of each episode. We are most proud of the exposure that we provide for everyone whether they are participating in challenges, judging for the season, or even helping out behind the scenes. We are different from every other platform because we are real, raw, and silly. Our episodes are not scripted, and we love to have a great time while filming content.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Being interviewed by four different other platforms (including this one) have been some of our proudest moments in our career so far. We are so happy that other people around us see potential in our platform!
